How long does it take for meditation to be effective?

You just read that it takes around 1 to 2 months for you to enjoy the benefits of meditation and that's assuming that you're meditating at least 15 minutes daily.

How many times a day should you meditate?

If you are just starting out, I recommend you meditate for anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes every day. You can start with even less. Maybe try it for 1 minute in the morning. And when you can sit still and relax for that long, move to 2 minutes.

What should I do after meditation?

5 things you can do after you finish meditating

  1. Be grateful.

  2. Sit for a few minutes.

  3. You should not jump up from your sitting position as soon as the meditation is done. Just sit and do nothing. ...

  4. Don't judge or rate your meditation as good or bad. As long as you are meditating everyday, you are doing great.

  5. Slowly transition to your physical activities.
